Photo of the Day

Photo of the day

my dream camera

If money wasn't a factor, the camera I would choose to buy would be a Cannon EOS 7D which is a dslr.

Trick Photography

The set up of this picture is rather simple. All you have to do is lay down on the ground/floor anyway you'd like and then you have the photographer tilt the camera or just set the camera down sideways.

For this picture all you will need is some kind of cup with a straw and a stool. The person in the background would have to walk a ways back to get this to work properly.

I got these pictures from:

http://theberry.com/

these picture are not mine. I am only using them for educational purposes.

Close-Up Key Points

1) Depth of field: The distance between closest and farthest objects that appear in sharp focus that would        normally be very small.

2) Movement: Occurs when either the subject, camera, or both are magnified. The flash is used to reduce the effect of the camera or subject movement.

3) The working distance: Space between the front of the lens and the subject.

4) Automatic flash exposure: Occasionally Inaccurate at close working distances, and at very short distances it mat not be able to work fast enough to prevent over exposure. In order to fix this you must change the settings on your camera to manual instead of flash

Rules of Thirds

the rule of thirds
The basic principle behind the rule of thirds is to imagine breaking an image down into thirds (both horizontally and vertically) so that you have 9 parts
