1) Depth of field: The distance between closest and farthest objects that appear in sharp focus that would normally be very small.
2) Movement: Occurs when either the subject, camera, or both are magnified. The flash is used to reduce the effect of the camera or subject movement.
3) The working distance: Space between the front of the lens and the subject.
4) Automatic flash exposure: Occasionally Inaccurate at close working distances, and at very short distances it mat not be able to work fast enough to prevent over exposure. In order to fix this you must change the settings on your camera to manual instead of flash
